What Is 100eyes?
100eyes is a cryptocurrency scanner (i.e. crypto scanner) that has been available since late 2018. The team behind 100eyes are based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
This tool automatically sends you alerts (with charts) via Telegram when technical thresholds are met for the cryptocurrencies that you care about. In other words, 100eyes will send you a private message on Telegram when technical analysis indicates that there might be a trading opportunity.
For example, here’s an alert I recently received when Bitcoin (BTC) got near some horizontal resistance.
And here’s the Bollinger Bands Squeeze (i.e. BB Squeeze) alert that I received for Bitcoin (BTC).
This is what it looks like when you receive alerts in your Telegram chat.
You can setup loads of different types of technical alerts for many popular cryptocurrencies. The timeframe you’re able to select depends on the alert type, but some alerts do support timeframes from 5 minutes to 1 week.
When you first signup, there’s a default configuration of coins and alerts. They’ve told me that this is configured to provide beginners with accurate, reliable, and easy-to-understand alerts that have a high win percentage.
You don’t have to stick with this default config though. You can customise the:
- Types of alerts you want to receive (e.g. horizontal resistance, RSI Oversold, etc.)
- Timeframes you want to be alerted about (e.g. 5 minutes, 1 day, 1 week, etc.)
- The cryptocurrencies you want to monitor (e.g. BTC, ADA, BNB, etc.)
There are more than 6500 people in 100eyes’ free cryptocurrency alert channel on Telegram and almost 15,000 followers on Twitter. There are some positive reviews on Trustpilot, but not many (just 5 when I checked).
They’ve told me that they have hundreds of premium subscribers, which includes some more well-known Twitter users like @scottmelker, @TheCryptomist, and @CryptoWendyO.
100eyes Pricing
100eyes premium subscription costs the following amount:
Duration | Price | Equivalent Price Per Month |
---|---|---|
6 Months | $75 | $12.50 |
12 Months | $120 | $10.00 |
This is payable by Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or Litecoin (LTC).
Buying their premium subscription allows you to completely customize the crypto alerts that you receive via Telegram.
If you want a preview of what this looks like before you purchase a subscription, then 100eyes do offer a 24hour free trial. To get started with this, just connect with their Telegram bot (@Official_100eyes_bot) and message it “/trial”.
Free Crypto Alerts
100eyes also have a free crypto alerts channel that anyone can join. No signup required, just click here and join their Telegram channel.
In this free crypto scanner channel, you’ll mainly receive alerts for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), EOS (EOS), and Ripple (XRP). Only 15m, 1hr, and 4hr timeframes are enabled. Not all of the technical analysis alerts are available in this free channel.
In addition to these coins, you’ll also receive ‘Bizarre Activity Alerts’ for all cryptocurrencies that 100eyes supports.
You can also follow 100eyes on Twitter to receive the crypto alerts from this channel in your Twitter feed. Find them at @100eyesCrypto
Conclusion: Simple Crypto Scanner
For something which only costs $10 per month, 100eyes is a great crypto scanner for beginners and experienced traders alike:
- For beginners: it’s a great way to learn more about technical analysis and identify potential trading opportunities.
- For experienced traders: it’s a convenient way to stay on top of what’s happening with cryptocurrencies you care about.
It supports 21 different alerts (incl. multiple timeframes) and more than 160 cryptocurrencies.
Although you can only receive alerts via Telegram, this is quite ideal as you can easily receive mobile notifications if you install the Telegram app.
This means that even if you’re lounging around watching Netflix, 100eyes will let keep you updated for alerts and coins you care about. It’s an alternative to always keeping your eyes pinned to your monitor.
